This comic was probably created by someone who is pro-life because they are trying to show that “a life is a life” no matter what stage it is in while developing. People who identify with the pro-life point of view are not only against abortion, but also against stem-cell research and emergency contraception regardless of the situation that the female faced during the time of fertilization.

These are pro-life people that were picketing on the day that the decision of the Roe vs. Wade case was made. Roe vs. Wade made abortions legal for all women regardless of the circumstances. This was a good day for people who identify with the pro-choice point of view. This allows for women to make their own decision and have control of their own body.

The article that we read for class talks about the females rights when it comes to controlling her own body and making decisions, but what about the man’s rights? He is a father too the second that fertilization occurs. Shouldn’t he get a say too in what happens? Although the pregnancy process occurs in the womb of the woman, the life contains half of the male’s DNA as well.
